This is, typically, cited by manufacturers for legal reasons to help cover them in the event of an accident. That said, some adhesives and chemicals can damage the polystyrene liner or materials used in construction.
We advise that you never stick the tag directly to the Polystyrene or foam section of your kit. Even if the adhesive doesn’t react, you might damage the effectiveness of your protection if you squash it or damage it later if you reposition your tags.
