You don’t need any NFC device or knowledge to use our SOS tags. They work online via any device. Simply put the URL from the front of the tag into your browser or head to our website and input the tag’s unique ID (the numbers printed on the front) to activate the beacon.
NFC chips are designed into all our tags as it’s an additional feature and a nice shortcut if you can use it. You don’t need it to use our service and everyone gets the same full suite of features.
